First of all, we are now heading until the end of the holiday time. What have you been doing since last round on Lausitzring?

I have been attending the university, it is now less than a year for my graduation, so I am really pleased with my efforts. Obviously, I have also been training really hard to prepare myself for the second part of Volkswagen Golf Cup – both physically as well as on the track behind the wheel.

How can you judge the rivalry in this year’s Volkswagen Golf Cup cycle?

The rivalry is really intense! During the whole racing weekend, the qualifying round is vital to determine your starting positions before both races. It is very difficult to overtake anyone during the race, so maximum focus have to be applied to the qualifying session.

Have you met some new people in the cup? Do you have some new friends maybe?

Yes, of course. I have met plenty of new people and everyone is really friendly and polite. Halfway through the season I have made a lot of new friends in the Volkswagen Golf Cup and I know they are like true friends, not just because we compete together in the Cup.

What do you like the most about each racing weekend of Volkswagen Golf Cup? The atmosphere, the passion or maybe the pure rivalry?

What I personally like the most is the level of professionalism. I can feel during each round that I collect a very valuable experience, learn new things and become a better driver. This has been the case during every round until now, so I am hoping to keep up the momentum and learn even more.

What are your plans for the future? Both in life and in motorsports?

The short-term plan in my personal life is to graduate successfully from my university. While motorsport and cars overall are my passion, I am sure I will dedicate my life to this. Maybe in my country, maybe not – this issue is not clear for me yet.
